1. year-end party phobia就是\"年会恐惧症\"，其中的year-end party就是大多数公司都要举办的\"年会\"。临近年终，很多事情都和year-end联系起来，类似的说法还有year-end bonus(年终奖)、year-end summary(年终总结)、year-end appraisal of work(年终工作考核)等等。

Phobia常用来形容极端的，或没有道理的恐惧或仇恨，也可以指\"恐惧症\"，可用作后缀，比如testphobia(考试恐惧症)。

相反，后缀philia则表示对某种特殊事物的偏好或喜好，比如xenophobia(仇外，惧外者)的反义是xenophilia(崇洋媚外)。理论上，对于每一种 -phobia都可以有和它相反的 –philia。现在年轻人流行说的\"XX控\"，其实就是一种-philia。

英语中有很多诸如AWOL这样的缩写，常见的比如ASAP(as soon as possible)、BTW(by the way)、TGIF(thank God it\'s Friday)、AFAIK(as far as I know)、FYI (for your information)、IOW(in other words)等等，
